Why practitioners are joining a wellness app, not another directory

People arrive already open
Members come to Sereno to check in on how they feel, most days. By the time someone books you, they have already named the thing — you are not starting from "I'm fine".
Context, not cold starts
Sereno is a daily practice, not a directory. Between 50+ audio tracks, 25+ calming games and 14 CBT tools, members build a habit long before they look for a human.
Vetting that protects you too
Every practitioner is verified by hand before they go live. That is slower for us and better for you — a directory anyone can join is a directory nobody trusts.

Approved applications get a single-use link that sets your account up. That link is the only way in, so it goes to the address you applied with.
Questions practitioners actually ask
How do I become a coach on Sereno?
Apply at Sereno Connect, the practitioner app at connect.serenowithyou.com. Choose the Coach path if you work one-to-one, or the Event Host path if you only run group events and workshops. The form takes a few minutes and creates no account. A person reads every application, and approved applicants get a single-use link by email that sets up their Connect account.
What commission does Sereno take?
15% of paid bookings and paid event tickets is the standard rate. The first 20 practitioners to join are locked at 10% permanently — that founding rate does not change as the platform grows. Free events take zero commission, always.
What is the difference between a coach and an event host?
Coaches take one-to-one sessions, appear in the public coach directory on serenowithyou.com, keep an availability calendar, set their own rates per session, hour or minute — and can run events as well. Event hosts run ticketed events and workshops only: no one-to-one sessions, no directory listing, no availability calendar. Coaches go through identity and credential verification; hosts go through identity verification only.
Do I need a clinical licence to apply?
No. Sereno Connect takes therapists, counsellors and psychologists as well as certified coaches and facilitators — breathwork, yoga, meditation, workshop leads. What matters is that anything you claim is real: coaches list their credentials on the application and a human reviews them before the profile goes live. Clinical licences are flagged as such so members can tell the difference.
How much can I charge?
You set your own prices. Coaches can price per session, per hour, or per minute, and can run more than one offering at different lengths and rates. Events are priced per ticket, and you can set a ticket price of zero to run the event free.
How long does the application take to review?
We do not quote a review time, because every application is read by a person rather than scored by a filter and we would rather not promise a date we might miss. If we need anything else to make a decision, we email you and ask.
When and how do I get paid?
Every booking and ticket is itemised in Connect — gross, commission, and your net — so the number is never a mystery. Earnings become payout-eligible after the session happens, and payouts are scheduled from there. Free events carry no commission, so a free event is fully free to run.
